Androgyny (n) among humans – expressed in terms of biological sex characteristics, gender identity, or gender expression – is attested to from earliest history and across world cultures.
For the purpose of this project we considered it a 'look', albeit one that Alex is very comfortable with. Shot in backstreets of Mutley Plain, Plymouth one Friday evening against street murals, metal staircases and an underground private car park, all in a 3 hour period as it was going dark. Alex is such a lovely, genuine person and an amazing model who's able to change look and genre to order and who I enjoy working with immensely.
